It is so awesome to find an all-vegan resort when travelling. It makes it easier things easier and definitely special. |
I'll start the list with a few that I know of.

One that I've eaten at (but never stayed at) is Oceana Hostal Playero in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I made my accommodation reservations before I knew about this place; however, they have a fantastic vegan restaurant that I ate at a few times, called Pura Vida. It was pricy, but soooo delicious, and I was grateful for it in such an otherwise non-vegan friendly city. Great to know. We've been wanting to go to Puerto Rico for a while. I just went to the restaurant's web site and it says "Now also serving selected fish" :(

Blah! I can't believe that! They were a totally vegan restaurant earlier this year. Guess it didn't go that well for them. It was SO nice to go to a restaurant where you knew you could eat anything on the menu.

i just went to vegas and alot of places now offer vegan menus .....it was great the wynn hotel in vegas has vegan options in every place to eat.....also they have a great vegan doughnut shop.....and if you like raw food vegas has some great places....... We were in Vegas right before Steve Wynn went vegan. It would have made the trip so much better. Vegan food on the strip was hard to find. Once we left the strip though, we found great food. For those that are unaware, Wynn has required that every restaurant in all his hotels have at least one vegan option on their menu. He apparently has even given some documentary to every single employee of his. If we ever go back to Vegas, I know where we are staying.
