Personally, I would never try to convert anyone to a vegan lifestyle - or any other.

I would greatly resent it if my meat-eating friends tried to convert me to a carniverous diet. I don't want people to tell me what to eat and what not to eat. I try to give the same respect to others.

Definitely The China Study for me. It has converted a few people, nearly converted a few others, and currently in the process of converting another (I hope).

Earthlings has also nearly converted a few people for me, but I don't think any of them committed to it.

Show them any animal cruelty video on PETA webpage or on youtube even.
Watching a cow get hung upside down and left to bleed out after having its throat slit turned me ;)

Also! to Mikl:
don't you understand the implications of a vegan diet? i know you have to have a reason for being vegan, and dont you think those reasons are justified in todays society?
I think trying to convert people is an act of ecoconservation, and honestly it truely is if you think about how detrimental the meat industry is to the environment.
i always convert people with telling them how healthy and great I feel. I am also much more active and fit then most people I talk to about this. I've converted alot of people that way
and honesty they are happier for it.
Usually works better with girls then guys tho lol

I agree with Martin on the China Study. Earthlings was also good. Honestly though just showing people the changes in your life seem to help for me.

I also use MilkProCon for the Milk argument. While it has the pro-side I point out that the studies seem to originate from Milk Producers and not serious academics. Most people aren't even aware there is a con side to the milk argument so as least it gets them thinking.
